BLACK BANANAS SOCCER LEAGUE 2021! 

Special Olympics Belgium enters into a partnership with Black Bananas. A collaboration that fits in with our aim to appeal to a younger target audience. Together we want to make young people aware of the inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities. Professional soccer players, influencers and special olympics formed football teams to play a friendly match. 

Black Bananas plays an important part in raising awareness among young people about the role people with intellectual disabilities have in our society. Pieter Maenhout, director of MarCom & Fundraising at SOB, agrees: “We are proud that Black Bananas has selected our Special Influencers to make their campaigns more inclusive. It is definitely one of our goals to connect young people more quickly with our athletes, values and organization. A brand like Black Bananas, which has an extensive young fan base, can help us raise awareness among this target audience.”
